your favorite “FALL” recipe into
this year’s bakeoff contest at the Woodsom Farm Festival
The
Categories are; 1. Pies 2. Bars/Cookies 3. Cakes/Breads.
There
is no entry fee to participate. The contest entries will be divided in to
junior bakers (up to age 16) and adult bakers.
All
entries need to be submitted to the registration table no later than 12 o’clock
on the day of the event. Winners will be announced from the main stage at 2
o’clock.
Our judges will be rating the entries based
on flavor, shape, and ease of preparation/clarity of recipe. All entries will
be assigned a number when delivered. Judging is done without knowledge as to
who baked the item.
Along
with your entry, please bring a clearly printed copy of your recipe and
instructions. Every entry must contain a
sufficient amount for 6 judges to taste.
Entries should be made from scratch and submitted on a disposable
dish. Each entry must be wrapped in a
reusable protective covering and must not require refrigeration. Dishes,
recipes, and leftovers will not be returned.
